Susan de Queljoe


Susan is St. Vincent de Paul’s Director of Community Relations and Business Strategies. In April 2009, she also gained responsibility for the eight Valley thrift stores and related processes. Her background includes over 15 years of corporate experience in marketing, public relations and advertising in both the United States and Asia. She spent ten years working for a large New York advertising agency and then moved to Indonesia and worked for their affiliated agency for several years. She also has consulted for a number of non-profit organizations in the areas of strategic marketing, communications and fundraising in Indonesia, Singapore and Phoenix. Susan holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from New York University and a B.A. in Communications from Michigan State University. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international non-profit organization dedicated to serving the poor and providing others with the opportunity to serve. The Phoenix Diocesan Council has been assisting central and northern Arizona families since 1946. Programs include services for the homeless, medical and dental care for the working poor, charity dining rooms, thrift stores, a transitional housing shelter and general assistance for individuals in need.
